About Ithaca High School

Head Coach Terry Hessbrook and assistant, John Mimranek shared an in-depth look into their unbalance spread offense that helped them score 650 points in 2010 on their way to the 6A Michigan State Championship. They have followed that up with  4 more state titles in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2015. The 2016 season was another undefeated regular season. Their 69 game win streak finally came to an end in the State Championship game of 2014.  Ithaca has been using a predominantly unbalanced attack since 1980, but about 10 years ago, they began to spread things out, keeping the look of the unbalanced line. They’ve got a lot working right now. Don’t miss this footage.
