Coming Spring 2010

Welcome to Chief Pigskin's community of men who are committed to improving themselves in being better leaders, husbands, fathers and coaches. Coming this spring will be the Chief Pigskin Community Mentorship. Whether you’re a new football coach or a veteran, an assistant or a head coach, we will have valuable resources that will be available to you whenever you need them. Webster’s dictionary defines a mentor as someone that is a “trusted counselor or guide”. This will be an opportunity for all of us to mentor each other. Most of us already have at least one mentor in our life and the community at Chief Pigskin will be available to be one of your mentors.   Available to you will be an accountability workbook to help you to look at your program and make sure you are covering the many aspects of being a football coach.   Included will be useful documents for all phases of the program, sample letters to players and parents, forums to communicate with Chief Pigskin and other coaches, quotes, thoughts, tips and much more.   Join us as we work to improve our knowledge of the game as well as our programs!
